Serial fraudster Megan Lalonde has yet another victim: rapper Yes, formerly known as Yes Megan and whose real name is Jean-Francois Ruel, fell into the trap.

The rapper, best known for his role as Damian in the TV series Fugueuse, posted a 13-minute video on TikTok this Sunday in which he described the scam.
A man posing as a lawyer on social media is being investigated by the Quebec bar, the Journal de Montreal revealed last week.
Megan Lalonde, 24, posed as a lawyer to scam Quebecers on online shopping sites and offered her fake services on TikTok or Instagram.
To achieve his goals, Quebecer disguised his real body with facial filters and altered other parts using software.
Finally, Megan Lalonde is actually a mother from Drummondville who had a long fraud record, according to an article in the Journal.
On Monday, he promised an interview with TVA Nouvelles, but he played with us. The meeting set up at the court of Saint-Jérôme never materialized.
Many victims
Rapper Yes McCann also stood up, according to his video posted on TikTok.
He thought he was in touch with this lawyer, but behind this facade, Megan Lalonde was in touch with the artist.
She asked him out on a date that never happened.

For his part, Dominique Murray told Yves Poirier that Megan Lalonde had sold a gazebo on a liquidation site he managed for $4,000 that he did not receive.
Mr Murray says he is in touch with dozens of alleged victims of fraud.
Specifically, a property owner in Drummondville claims Megan Lalonde and her partner Tommy Phaneuf owe them $23,000 in unpaid rent and damages.
The Quebec Bar is still in the verification process.
