Cloud gaming is becoming more and more popular. No wonder manufacturers outpace each other in introducing purpose-built equipment. Razer Edge is the latest offering from a manufacturer known for its gaming accessories.
The CES exhibition held this year in Las Vegas raises a lot of emotions every year. It’s no different this time around, and gear manufacturers have made sure fans have something to talk about in the months ahead.
Razer has made sure that gamers who focus on cloud solutions have something to spend their money on. At the conference, the company presented its Edge Gaming tablet, which will soon go on sale. What has the manufacturer prepared for potential consumers?
Razer Edge is equipped with a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The Qualcomm Snapdragon G3x Gen 1 chip with Adreno graphics chip will be responsible for the power of the device. Everything is powered by 8GB of LPDDR5 memory.
In addition, Razer Edge also has 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Storage can be expanded up to 2TB using the microSD card slot. However, the most important thing is the presence of the Razer Kishi V2 controller. Thanks to him, playing in the cloud will be comfortable for the user.
Does Razer Edge stand a chance of success?scanner
At the moment, Razer Edge is only available on the official store project. On January 26, the Standard Edition will go on sale for $399.99. The company has also packed equipment in a Founders Edition for $499.99, which will come with the Razer Hammerhead True Wireless headphones.
In addition, a 5G module-equipped model will also be available, but it will be available exclusively in the US on Verizon’s mobile network.
