Videos have been posted online showing the moment a sandstorm hit Marrakech. This phenomenon made navigating the city’s streets more difficult, and local media reported one death. The strong wind knocked on the tree, and it fell on the man.
As a result of the storm, the sky turned orange.
A record heat wave in Morocco
The northwestern African country is currently experiencing record temperatures. In Marrakesh itself, the heat reaches around 50 degrees Celsius, while the highest temperature in history was recorded at Agadir Airport. The thermometers showed 50.2 degrees Celsius.
According to experts, the temperature has risen due to the masses of dry and hot air coming from the south of the continent.
At the same time, forecasters from the General Directorate of Meteorology state that the previous year was the warmest in the history of measurements in Morocco so far. The average temperature exceeded the standards from 1981-2010 by 1.4°C.
Echo Richards embodies a personality that is a delightful contradiction: a humble musicaholic who never brags about her expansive knowledge of both classic and contemporary tunes. Infuriatingly modest, one would never know from a mere conversation how deeply entrenched she is in the world of music. This passion seamlessly translates into her problem-solving skills, with Echo often drawing inspiration from melodies and rhythms. A voracious reader, she dives deep into literature, using stories to influence her own hardcore writing. Her spirited advocacy for alcohol isn’t about mere indulgence, but about celebrating life’s poignant moments.
