The Japanese confirm other very important details about the new releases of Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 7. The games will move to the latest consoles and you will receive the option to transfer the gameplay from the previous generation to the current one.

The developers have confirmed some details about the new releases, but an important detail is still missing – can we count on porting gameplay from PS4 to PS5 and XOne to XSX | S? The studio answered a frequently asked question from the community.

 

“We are happy to confirm that data saved from the original versions of these games on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be carried over to their Enhanced versions. Downloadable content included with Resident Evil 7 Gold Edition will also be carried over!”

 

This is really good news, because now players can easily play, say, Resident Evil 7, but only on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X | S will finish their adventure.

As you can see, the Japanese can take care of their community, who will probably be happy to return to Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 7 on the latest devices. The announced changes can enhance the impressions in an interesting way.
