Netflix is ready to expand the “Resident Evil” universe. The platform has just confirmed the date of the series’ premiere, but this time the company has decided not to make another animation. Viewers will watch the series with the actors.
Much has been said about the “Resident Evil” being developed by the Netflix platform, as not all viewers believe that the company made good choices while choosing the main characters. Right now, it’s really hard to say what the series will look like, but we can be sure the platform is ready for premiere.
Netflix has just confirmed the show’s release date – all episodes will be released on July 14, 2022. The company also provided an official summary of events:
2036 – 14 years after a deadly virus causes global catastrophe, Jade Wesker struggles to survive in a world overrun by mad, infected, bloodthirsty creatures. In this ultimate carnage, Jade haunts her past in the new Raccoon City, and the terrifying bonds that bind her father to Umbrella , but most of all what happened to her sister Billy.
Netflix hasn’t released the first trailer yet, but it has provided three posters – It is very likely that these will be thrillers related to the “evolution” of zombies or other enemies that the main characters in the production will encounter.
The series will feature, among others: Lance Riddick, Ella Palinska, Tamara Smart, Sienna Agudong, Adeline Rudolph, Paula Nunez, Ahad Reza Mir, Conor Gusatti and Turlo Confrey.
