Retail Sales in June – Comments
“Weak data on retail sales in June (constant prices). A slowdown in annual dynamics from 8.2% to 3.2% (below the consensus forecast). However, the most striking is the decrease compared to the previous month.”- mBank economists wrote.
“Weak” data was also mentioned in Pekao Bank economists’ commentary. “Weak data on retail sales. In June it increased 3.2% y/y, which is clearly below expectations (about 6% y/y). No extenuating circumstances, June dynamics in each category were below our assumptions.” – We read.
“Retail sales in June clearly slowed,” PKO BP economists noted. “The sale of essential goods (food, cosmetics, medicine, clothes) is still on the positive side, supported by the influx of refugees, but the decline in real income is choking off consumer spending,” the bank’s economists wrote.

Echo Richards embodies a personality that is a delightful contradiction: a humble musicaholic who never brags about her expansive knowledge of both classic and contemporary tunes. Infuriatingly modest, one would never know from a mere conversation how deeply entrenched she is in the world of music. This passion seamlessly translates into her problem-solving skills, with Echo often drawing inspiration from melodies and rhythms. A voracious reader, she dives deep into literature, using stories to influence her own hardcore writing. Her spirited advocacy for alcohol isn’t about mere indulgence, but about celebrating life’s poignant moments.
