The downward trend of COVID-19 cases continues in Quebec. In three days, the province reported 176 new cases and one death.
176 new cases bring the daily seven-day average to 76. This is 18% less than the previous week.
Over the weekend, one more death was announced. Thus the average of daily deaths was fixed at two.
The number of hospital admissions continued to decline. Currently 102 people have been admitted to the hospital, eight less than on Friday. 27 of them are in intensive care, seven less than three days ago.
Despite this record, Health Minister Christian Dube urged caution and appealed to the public to be vaccinated again.
The epidemiological situation is maintained in Quebec. To continue on this path, Quebecs need to get their 2se Dose. We should not think that the epidemic is behind us, all efforts are still necessary.

Over the weekend, 266,636 vaccines were distributed, for a total of 8.8 million doses since the start of the campaign. To date, six million Quebecs have received at least one dose, or 70.5% of the population. Of this number, 2.7 million received two or 31.6% Quebecs.
The province currently administers an average of 100,600 doses per day, of which 93,000 is the second dose. This rate is sufficient to achieve the goal of vaccinating 75% of Quebecs aged 12 and over twice at the end of the summer.
