Filmed on the scale of a great battle scene, this superlative production, directed by Ridley Scott, premiered in world cinemas on November 19, 2023. The Polish premiere took place a few days later, on November 24. Since then, according to Box Office data, the film has grossed more than $213 million worldwide. However, less than two months later, “Napoleon” was released on VOD.
Where can you watch the movie “Napoleon”?
The film “Napoleon” tells the story of the life and conquests of Napoleon Bonaparte. The role was played by Oscar-winning actor Joaquin Phoenix. This is his second meeting with director Ridley Scott. Previously, the actor played Commodus in the film “Gladiator”. The film focuses on Napoleon's military achievements and his love story with Josephine.
Ridley Scott also wanted to convey the incredible nature of the Emperor's conquests in the battle scenes, which were filmed on a grand scale.
Despite this, the picture receives extreme opinions. Some accuse him of shallow treatment of personalities and great contradiction with historical events.
“Napoleon” is now available to purchase or rent on Amazon, Apple, Google, P4, YouTube and Rakuten.
