Lewandowski, along with other Barcelona players, will not play at the Camp Nou for at least a season
The Polish striker and his colleagues will be forced to leave the club’s stadium next season. All of this is linked to the planned renovation of the Camp Nou. The new venue where FC Barcelona will play its matches is already known.
The authorities of the “Pride of Catalonia” planned to start work on their facilities for the holiday period. The first assumptions about the redevelopment of the stadium appeared a year ago, but only now official information on this matter has been presented. This situation forces the players and coaching staff out of the Camp Nou for at least a year.

Next season, FC Barcelona will play its matches at the Olympic Stadium. This facility is mainly known from the Olympic Games that were held more than 30 years ago, namely in 1992. It has a capacity of less than 56,000 seats – for comparison, the Camp Nou is currently able to accommodate more than 43,000 spectators.
Club authorities are certain they will be able to return to the facility in the second part of 2024, but that does not mean the end of the business. Tentatively scheduled for full completion in 2026, two years later.
Barcelona activists have already submitted a request to facilitate the club’s move to a new stadium. It’s about giving him extra time by playing the first three games next season away. In turn, the team will play the last match at the Camp Nou before the renovation on May 28, as part of the 37th round of the League. The rival of the current leader of the competition will be Mallorca.
