From the available sources it can be concluded that it was the convicts recruited by the Wagner group who suffered the greatest losses of all Russian troops. Independent media managed to identify 2,901 Russian convicts who died fighting against Ukraine. The actual balance of losses is certainly much greater.
Most often, convicts are buried near the place of residence of their relatives.
