Russia. Shooting and shooting at the Crocus City Hall concert hall near Moscow. Donald Tusk and Radoslaw Sikorski took the floor

Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on Friday evening that he had been informed of the circumstances of the attack in Moscow and the possible repercussions on the situation in the region and the country's security. Poland condemns terrorism in any form, said Radoslaw Sikorski, head of the Foreign Ministry, in “Fakty po Faktach”. The head of the National Security Office, Jacek Siwira, said that President Andrzej Duda is aware of the course of events in Russia.

Representatives of the Polish authorities spoke about the attack that occurred on Friday at a concert hall in Krasnogorsk near Moscow.

In the evening, Prime Minister Donald Tusk posted a short post on social media. “The heads of the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of the Interior, the Administration and the Intelligence Coordinator inform me of the circumstances of the attack in Moscow and the possible repercussions for the situation in the region and the security of the country,” the head of government wrote on the X platform.

Shortly thereafter, a post appeared in the profile of the head of the Ministry of National Defence. “Regarding the shooting near Moscow, we are constantly monitoring the situation. I am in contact with the General Staff of the Polish Army, all services and our allies,” National Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamisz said. He added: “We are analyzing this situation in terms of its potential impact on Poland's security.”

Sikorsky: It's not worth speculating because we don't have enough data yet

Earlier, the Foreign Minister commented on the matter on the “Fakty po Faktach” program on TVN24. Radoslaw Sikorski said that the Foreign Ministry has no information about the incident yet. He pointed out that Poland, of course, condemns terrorism in any form.

The minister was asked about the consequences of the shooting in the context of the announcement by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, who said that the “special military operation” had turned into a war and the “collective West” had become “a participant in it alongside Ukraine.” Until now, Russian authorities have described the war in Ukraine as a “special military operation.”

– I don't think it's worth speculating because we don't have enough data yet. As for Minister Peskov’s statement that this is a war – and they realized it after two years – it only makes me wonder: Will the Russian authorities release from prison those who previously said that this is a war and not a military operation? – he was asking.

Siwira: The president was constantly kept informed of the matter

President Andrzej Duda “remains aware of the course of events on the territory of the Russian Federation and their possible consequences for the security of Polish citizens,” wrote the head of the National Security Office, Jatsek Siwira, on Friday evening on the X platform. “

“I would like to thank the Minister of National Defense and National Services and partners for their cooperation in building the country’s situational awareness,” he added.
