Aryna Sabalenka and Elena Rybakina reached the WTA 500 grand final in Brisbane in style, Without losing a single set. It would have been a fantastic final match involving the second and fourth ranked tennis players. Their previous fight was won by the Belarusian. The tennis player from Minsk then defeated Kazakhstan in the match to advance to the semi-finals of the WTA Finals in Cancun. The women then competed over the distance for three full sets.
