If I asked you about the best smartphone ever, which model would be your favourite? My type is Samsung Galaxy Note 4, which at the time was the best Android smartphone packed with technology. I don’t think any other phone has been so close to perfect.
Lately I’ve been wondering which is the best phone out there. It offers everything or almost everything that was available at the time of its release. Beating the competition in almost every respect. The first thing that came to my mind was Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
Of course, not the best in the sense that each subsequent model is worse than it. Technology is constantly evolving, and we are getting better and better components, so naturally we now find phones that are better than the Galaxy Note 4 which is several years old.
I mean, any phone of its time dominated the rest and offered specifications in which it was difficult to find a weak point. I mean the smartphone that was closest to ideal at the time it hit the market.
Such a model in my eyes is the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, which was released in 2014. This same smartphone is not forgotten years after its premiere. The last time we wrote about him last fall, and for some surprising reason.
Samsung Galaxy Note 4: The best smartphone ever
If you go back in time 9 years and think of a phone that does everything you can, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is probably the first thought in all of ManiaK.
I don’t think I need to be too clear here Super AMOLED screen. It was 5.7 inches in diameter and now cosmic accuracy WQHD (2560 x 1440). A lot of time has passed, the screens have grown significantly stretchedand a PPI of more than 500 dpi is still a rare phenomenon.
The Galaxy Note 4’s camera then was a class in itself. 16 megapixel resolution She looked great at the time. Over the next few years, the average average ranger was still tired of the 8MP units. The pixels themselves were 1.12 µm in size, and there was a lot on board 4K recording and optical image stabilization. Now not all super averages have it.
Galaxy Note 4 was the last allowed representative of the series Free access to the battery (with a capacity of 3220 mAh). It’s funny that at that time Samsung had 15W charging, which we now find in many new phones of this brand.
The battery cover must be removed to remove the battery. Yes It looked like leatherAs in its predecessor. This time, however, Samsung added a font that I really liked. Others said it was tacky. I don’t think anyone cares about looking cool, metal frame.
Another such item already forgotten by the Koreans Memory card slot. To this day, I remember how many fans of the series complained about the lack of this element in its successor (which did not reach Poland through official sales channels).
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 can also boast of Excellent equipment. In addition to support for the S Pen, the user of this device can count on an LTE modem, Wi-Fi ac (2.4 and 5 GHz), infrared port, microUSB with MHL 3, fingerprint reader, SpO2 sensor, heart rate monitor or 3.5 mm jack connector.
The icing on the cake was that In Poland, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was available in two versions with different processors. One labeled SM-N910F received a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 unit, and the other SM-N910C was powered by Samsung Exynos 5433.
What is the difference between them? Exynos turned out to be more efficient and cooler, while Snapdragon allowed for significantly longer battery life. So it wasn’t entirely comfortable, however At least there was an option. Later Samsung picked it up and didn’t restore it anymore.
A legend that will never die
Objectively, I think so Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is the best smartphone ever. Personally, I can only point to one model that best fits my preferences in defining the ideal *.
Finally, let me remind you of this Samsung Galaxy Note 4 went to Poland for PLN 2999. The latest Galaxy Note (20 Ultra) was 100% more expensive, and was introduced recently Galaxy S23 Ultra is 125% more expensive From the main character of this entry.
* And from Samsung as well. I affirm this in case someone tries to push me into some prejudice against this manufacturer. This post is also not sponsored, as it will not be profitable for anyone.
