Sexual assault complaint against actor Warren Beatty dismissed

A California judge on Friday dismissed a complaint against American actor Warren Beatty who accused him of sexually assaulting a teenage girl on the sidelines of a movie set in 1973.

Christina Charlotte Hirsch, the plaintiff, said she met the actor when he was 14 or 15 and he was 35.

Warren Beatty “used his position and status as an adult and Hollywood star to coerce sexual contact with the plaintiff on numerous occasions,” including “forced intercourse with a minor.”

It was dismissed by a judge in Beverly Hills due to procedural defects.

The complaint was filed in 2022 under California law

Warren Beatty, the hero with the white teeth and square frame Bonnie and Clyde (1967), made his mark on screens during the golden age of New Hollywood, campaigned for John F. Kennedy and the Democratic Party and turned down numerous roles from 2001 to 2015 before leaving the media and cinema scene.

Known for his numerous relationships with various women, he appeared on the arms of Julie Christie, Brigitte Bardot, Vivien Leigh, Jackie Kennedy and Madonna, in 1992, he married Annette Bening, 21 years his junior, with whom he had four children.
