The Poles, despite their poor performance, are clear favorites against the Faroe Islands. We will see how Michel Proppers will make his debut as national team coach, as Robert Lewandowski will not be at his disposal for the October matches. The national team captain suffered an injury in the Champions League match against FC Porto. He sprained his ankle, which means he will have an extended period of rest.
Timotiusz Pusakz, who suffered an adductor muscle injury in the second Bundesliga match, will not play against the Faroe Islands and three days later at PGE Narodowy in Warsaw against Moldova.
