Details of the Denise Richards incident
Phypers drove his wife to the set. Near the movie studio, he slowed down to find a parking spot. The truck driver behind them didn’t like it. The man first tried to overpower the couple, and when he failed, opened fire on the Ford F-150 in which the couple was located.
Nothing happened to Richards and Webbers. They realized that their car was shot only after they got out and saw traces of bullets in the body. The actress managed to control her emotions and went to the set, where she worked for 12 hours. In the evening, the couple returned home, accompanied by an off-duty police officer.
The actress did not make an official statement about the incident. However, she decided to respond to a Twitter user who said she wished she were dead. Thank you. I never wish anyone to get hurt – Richards wrote – What I experienced with my husband yesterday, you don’t care. It was the most terrifying situation I have ever been in. Sorry the bullet didn’t scratch my neck… asshole.
