Show I've Been Waiting For You |  Véro and Jean-Sébastien Girard will highlight popular culture

The same season after seven years Your beautiful showHosts Véronique Cloutier and Jean-Sébastien Girard come together in a new show: I was waiting for youFrom the 1960s to the early 2000s, it was said to be “a great embrace of our popular culture”.


Radio-Canada announced the title and details of the new show on Thursday, which will air on ICI TOU.TV EXTRA's VERO.TV segment in 2024-2025 and later on ICI TÉLÉ.

Eight one-hour shows were planned and filmed in an “intimate and relaxed atmosphere”, in which two hosts and three guests would talk together about memories from the art world. Each episode will have its theme and highlight a notable personality, but there is little in the media today.

« I was waiting for you It will ultimately be a big embrace of our popular culture, a highly entertaining event that is punctuated with gentle or ironic nods to old fashions,” Radio-Canada writes in a press release.
