Volunteers, overseen by the Zee Reachers Charlie team, joined in hoping to see all areas over the weekend, but to no avail.
“She was not in the same area of the bay where Edien was found. After several days of searching the banks, we thought Dad might have moved into the woods,” said Christine Kelinas, the victim’s sister.
“Now that we’ve found Dad, we can come full circle,” he added.
Etienne Kelinas, a member of the Youth Council of the Liberal Party of Quebec, drowned during a paddle trip last July 6 and his dog went everywhere with him.
