Ukrainian news agency UNIAN confirmed that Cherva was born in the Ukrainian city of Sevastopol, betrayed Ukraine and joined the Russian army, where his father and brother are also fighting. As UNIAN notes, Chirwa has committed war crimes in both Syria and Ukraine.

Neither Razugo nor the Russian media mentioned the date of Chirwa’s death or the circumstances in which he died, according to Rzeczpospolita’s notes.
The newspaper reports that on March 24 the Ukrainian armed forces reported damage to ships “Cesar Kunikov” and “Novocherkassk” in the port of Berdyansk, where the landing ship “Saratov” was destroyed.
