On Thursday, Pope Francis appointed Fr. Janusz Urbanczyk, Apostolic Nuncio to Zimbabwe. The Polish priest also became titular Archbishop of Wola.

the father. Janusz Urbanczyk It comes from the Diocese of Elbląg. He was born on May 19, 1967 in Krachev. He was ordained a priest on June 13, 1992 by the Bishop. Andrzej Sliwinski.

In the years 1992-1993 he was secretary and chaplain to the Bishop of Elblag, then went to study in Rome, which he completed in 1997 with a doctorate.

Urbańczyk was the permanent representative of the Holy See International Atomic Energy Agency (International Atomic Energy Agency), in Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe) and in The Preparatory Committee for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization, And Permanent Observer of the Holy See to the United Nations Industrial Development and the United Nations Office in Vienna.
