The first two matches for WWE Survivor Series 2023 have been announced

PLE Crown Jewel 2023 is just over, but WWE is already gearing up for the next one with Survivor Series 2023. The November 6, 2023 WWE RAW show made it clear that Survivor Series was on the way since two matches were announced for PLE.

First, we learned that Intercontinental Champion Gunther will defend his title at Survivor Series. During RAW, Miz, Ivar, Ricochet, and Bronson Reed faced off to determine Gunther’s next opponent, and Miz won the match by avoiding a tsunami from Reed to do a roll up on behalf of the trio.

Miz and Gunther face each other at Survivor Series for the Intercontinental Championship. Later, on the wrestling side, Adam Pearce organized a battle royal to find Rhea Ripley’s opponent. Joey Stark was the last man standing in the ring to win the match by eliminating Shayna Bassler. Ripley for the Women’s Championship vs. Joey Stark So the world is official for Survivor Series.

Both of these announcements confirm that Survivor Series will not take place on RAW against SmackDown as in the past, as the RAW Champions will not be opposing the SmackDown Champions. As seen in the past, the Intercontinental Champion would face the United States Champion and the Women’s Champions would face each other.

Survivor Series 2023 will take place on Saturday, November 25, 2023 and will not feature Raw vs. Smackdown, but will be themed “Wargames” with one or two Wargames matches.
