Peter Dinklage in “The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes”
The plot of “The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes” is based on the new book by Susan Collins, published in 2020. The story centers on 18-year-old Coriolanus Snow (Tom Blythe), long before he became the premier of Ban State. His chance to improve his family’s situation became a mentor to the Tenth Hunger Games. However, his role is to take care of a girl from District 12’s worst, Lucy Gray Bird (Rachel Ziegler). However, she draws the attention of the whole Lord with her musical talent. Snow begins to think that he can tip the scales in his favour even now.
Dinklage will play Casca Highbottom, who will be the dean of the academy.
Behind the camera will be Frances Lawrence, director of the films “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” and two parts called “Mockingjay”.
Hunter Schaeffer and Jason Schwartzman are also on the cast of “The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes”.
The Hunger Games series
The Hunger Games takes place in a dystopian future in a country divided into 13 counties in the North American state of Panem. Each year, twelve children are randomly selected to participate in the bloody games in which only one participant can survive. The main character of the series is Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence), who volunteers to co-star in the stead of her sister. The girl becomes a symbol of rebellion and the fight against injustice.
The film series consists of four films: “The Hunger Games” (2012), “The Hunger Games: In the Ring of Fire” (2013), “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay. Part 1” (2014), and “The Hunger” Games: Mockingjay. Part 2. “(2015). In total, the series has grossed over $3 billion worldwide.
