Possible change in the position of WSE Chairman
So far, only changes to the Supervisory Board are planned. The fact that “changes in the board of directors” are on the agenda may mean that MAP, led by Boris Budka, also wants to change the head of the WSE. Currently, this position is held by Marek Dietl, who was appointed in 2017 during the government Law and Justice Party.
The head of the global stock market will then be changed by changing the agenda of the Extraordinary General Assembly for the first time in history.
Iron broom in state treasury companies
A staff revolution in other companies that contribute to the state treasury is also scheduled for February. Orlin held an extraordinary general meeting on 6 February. At the request of the State Treasury, changes will be made in the composition of the company’s supervisory board on that day, according to a statement published by Orlin.
Borys Budka's “cadre broom” will also arrive at KGHM Polska Miedź SA, a local producer of, among others, copper, silver and gold. The Polish giant announced that the company's extraordinary general assembly will be held on February 13. According to the statement issued by KGHM SA, the main point of the meeting will be “Making decisions regarding changes in the composition of the Supervisory Board“.
In the years 2017-2022, GPW recorded increases in revenues (by 25%), EBITDA (by 28%) and profits (by 33%). The year 2024 promises to be record-breaking – for the first time in the first three quarters of 2023, WSE's profits exceeded PLN 100 million.

Echo Richards embodies a personality that is a delightful contradiction: a humble musicaholic who never brags about her expansive knowledge of both classic and contemporary tunes. Infuriatingly modest, one would never know from a mere conversation how deeply entrenched she is in the world of music. This passion seamlessly translates into her problem-solving skills, with Echo often drawing inspiration from melodies and rhythms. A voracious reader, she dives deep into literature, using stories to influence her own hardcore writing. Her spirited advocacy for alcohol isn’t about mere indulgence, but about celebrating life’s poignant moments.
