In the first final of the Polish championship, ZAKSA defeated Jastrzębski 3-0 and entered Saturday’s competition as the favorite. JW hopes to finally break a losing streak with the Kędzierzynians (6 consecutive losses in all competitions).
The start of the confrontation goes back to the visitors who advanced 4: 1. As time passed, the hosts began to talk, and Jan Hadrava gave the signal to attack. Host Tomas Fornall also added his three year old and Jastrzębie-Zdrój took the lead at 13:10. From that moment on, only Benjamin Toniotti and the company dominated the events of the stadium and were victorious in the opening match 25:20.
After switching sides, the agitated charges of the Gheorghe Cretu immediately got to work in earnest. Kędzierzyn-Koźle consolidated the block and won 9:4. Marcin Janusz played it with ease, and his team was heading confidently for victory in the second set. The local volleyball players seemed helpless and eventually died at the age of 16.

For some time in the third installment, blows were exchanged and neither team was able to achieve a safe advantage. Later, Jastrzębski Węgiel’s players began to accelerate, with Trevor Clevennot doing well in the ranks (19:15). It is true that Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle took on the challenge at the end of the match, but the homeowners, who won in 25:22, had the final say.
The players did not leave Kędzierzyn and started the fourth part of the battle with a high “c” move, advancing 7:2 after an effective middle handicap by Norbert Huber. David Smith was also a good blocker and the guests controlled everything for this group. In the end, Alexander Alyuka and his friends scored a stunning victory with a ratio of 25:12, breaking the tie in this match.
In the fifth game, the two teams fought hard, but it was difficult to stop their rival Łukasz Kaczmarek, who led ZAKSA to the 10:8 lead. Jastrzębski would not give it up and eventually led to a 13:13 tie, which promised incredible sentiment. The visitors maintained more cold blood, who were victorious after the siege on Hadrava 18:16, and in the whole match 3:2.
