We just got to see Code of Evil, the latest movie, on the big screen. As Osgood PerkinsThe director has just shared a trailer for his next project. The Monkey is an adaptation of Stephen King’s short story of the same name, which has received its first teaser trailer. In the material we can see a scary game with a monkey playing a drum and the hero playing with it. Theo JamesaWho stands bloody. Perkins is clearly using the same promotional tactic he used for his previous production and doesn’t want to reveal too much before the film’s premiere.

Monkey – what is it?
The film tells the story of twin brothers Bill and Hal (both played by James), who find their father’s old coin-op game in the attic of their family home. When a series of horrific deaths begin, the brothers decide to throw the monkey away and move on with their lives, but they have drifted apart over the past few years. But when the mysterious deaths start happening again, the brothers must reunite to find a way to completely destroy the game before it kills again.
Perkins and Stephen King wrote the screenplay for Ape. Executive producers are Fred Berger, Ali Jazayeri, Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, Chris Ferguson, David Gendron, John Friedberg, and Peter Law. Producers are Dave Kaplan, Jason Kluth, and Michael Clear.
Aside from James, the cast includes Elijah Wood, Tatiana Maslany, Lori Mennell, Christian Convery, Sarah Levy, Colin O’Brien, and Rohan Campbell.
The Monkey – Set to premiere in theaters on February 21, 2025.
