Apple-branded devices are quite expensive, but in most cases the price is at least partially justified by their technical specifications. There are also products that are ridiculously high priced for what they offer. This mainly applies to various types of accessories. Take, for example, iPhone 13, for which you will have to pay more than 4000 PLN, but in comparison with Android smartphones, this phone will last much longer. Perhaps it is difficult to explain the price of a leather case for this smartphone, which costs up to PLN 299. And this is just the tip of the iceberg.
Mac Pro
Mac Pro is a desktop computer designed for professional work. It is a very effective machine and at the same time the most expensive product that you can buy in the online Apple store. For the most efficient configuration with a mouse and trackpad, you need to pay up to PLN 271748, which is more than a quarter of a million zlotys. This computer is equipped, among other things, with a 28-core Intel Xeon processor, 1.5 TB of RAM, and two Radeon Pro W6900X graphics cards.
Let’s add that according to the Central Statistical Office, in the second quarter of this year, the average price per square meter of usable floor space in an apartment building was 5,112 PLN, which means that you can buy an apartment with an area of u200bu200bjust over 50 square meters for The price of this computer.
Pro Display XDR
A screen whose design is similar to the Mac Pro described above, which indicates that it is not cheap. The standard version with glass costs PLN 23,999, and the screen with nano-coating costs PLN 27,999. The said coating diffuses the light falling onto the screen, while ensuring very good image quality with consistent contrast.
Display Pro XDR has a 32-inch IPS LCD screen. Resolution 6016 x 3384 pixels.
Instead of a screen, you can buy a ready-to-drive 7-8-year-old car in good technical condition for PLN 28000.
Accessories for Mac Pro and Pro Display XDR
A Mac Pro and Pro Display XDR are expensive. You can also buy custom accessories for those products whose prices are not too low. While the price of both devices is at least partially justified by their technical specifications, it is difficult to say what the prices of these accessories are based on. For example, you can buy from the online Apple Store:
- Pro Monitor Stand – for PLN 4799.
- Foot assembly for Mac Pro – priced at PLN 1499.
The stand is adjustable in height and angle, and allows you to change the orientation of the monitor, so you can position the monitor according to your needs. It’s hard to write anything interesting about wheels and feet.
iPad Pro
The iPad is an Apple branded tablet. These types of devices were originally intended for content consumption, such as surfing the Internet, watching movies, or reading e-books. Apple has taken tablets to another level. The iPad Pro is a device with the M1 chip, the same device as last year’s MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, Mac mini, and others.
For the most expensive iPad Pro model, which is equipped with a 12.9-inch screen with a small LED backlight, 2 TB of large memory and a modem to support 5G, you will have to pay PLN 11 799.
Too much for a slightly limited product. iPad Pros are very good, but iPadOS is less advanced than, say, macOS or Windows. Even a decent file explorer is missing.
AirTag Accessories
AirTag is a locator that resembles a large coin in shape and size. It is visible in the Localizator application, thanks to which its location can be constantly monitored. You can put it in a wallet, for example, or attach it to something else of value, thanks to which you will always be under control. The cost of AirTag is 159 PLN – not much compared to the devices described above.
However, the prices for accessories dedicated to AirTag selectors are ridiculous. The irony is that it is more expensive than AirTag itself. The cost of the leather strap is 215 PLN, and the leather key ring – 189 PLN. The accessories are made of “specially tanned European leather and stainless steel components”. The only function of these accessories is that the AirTaga can be connected to other items.

The cheapest product from this list, but you have to pay up to 99 PLN for the fabric. If that is not enough, the waiting time for shipment is now 10-12 weeks. Therefore it is a commodity with limited availability. The fabric is made of a soft material that does not scratch, so it can be used to clean the screen with nanoglass – this is for 28000 zlotys.
In addition to the price, the long waiting time for shipment also does wonders. Apple may have a so-called elusive rule where hard-to-reach items become the object of desire, but applying a few psychological tricks to the canvas would be overkill.
