The Outlaws found the missing tribal hunter

(Montreal) One of the two native hunters who has been missing since Friday was found safe and noisy in Laurentians, north of Mont-Laurier on Sunday afternoon.

This is Jonah Devache, 32, who was found in the Pavilion Park Lake area, among others, thanks to information received from the public, Sûreté du Québec (SQ) said.

The search continues for Dustin Odzik, 37, a native of Kittigan GB First Nation in Outreach.

A helicopter is on its way to fly over that area. Police officers from SQ and Kittigan GB police are still conducting ground searches. They are assisted by groups of structured research volunteers.

According to SQ, both men can go hunting in Firm-Nouveau, Laurence or Grand-Remus, Outoice. They set off in a black-painted Ford F-150 in Quebec.

No other details are yet available about the missing hunter or the circumstances surrounding his disappearance, but SQ calls on anyone who wants to see him to report him to the police.

Anyone with information can contact Sûreté du Québec’s Criminal Information Center at 1-800-659-4264.

Through its website at [email protected], you can also communicate with SQ in complete secrecy.
