The demo for the Polish game JDM: Japan Drift Master, which was one of the most popular entrants at the Steam Next Festival half a year ago, is no longer available – but in a few months, a more comprehensive introduction will be presented titled JDM: Rise of Scorpion.

During one of the last editions of the Steam Next Festival, in the fall of 2023, there was a lot of talk about the Polish racing game JDM: Japan Drift Master – its demo version rose to the top of the most tested free samples. A few weeks ago it was removed from Steam, but from the Gaming Factory studio Announce Today we will have the opportunity to play his work for free before the premiere.


It will be released in the summer JDM: Rising of Scorpio – Introduction to the full version, which is a more advanced form of the above-mentioned demo. We'll learn about the story the game tells, and get to know one of the main characters – Hatori “Scorpion” Hasashi – through cinematic scenes reminiscent of the manga.


Aside from the plot revolving around the birth of a local drifting legend, it is an attraction for players who have already played the demo. JDM It will be so An opportunity to explore previously inaccessible areas of the open world (enriched by the daily cycle and changing weather) and driving a new car – an unlicensed Nissan 350Z. Presumably, we will also have the opportunity to tune this car ourselves, improve its performance and modify its appearance.

Full version JDM It is scheduled to be released on PC by the end of the year. Console versions (for platforms not yet specified) will be prepared later.
