The Slovak Prime Minister also announced that he will inform the Ukrainian Prime Minister that he is against his country's membership in NATO because he considers it a risk of the outbreak of World War III. Fico is also expected to reiterate to his partners from Kiev that Ukraine will not receive any weapons from Slovak arsenals from Bratislava.
However, there are no problems with commercial delivery of equipment produced by non-governmental companies. FICO also maintained its offer of humanitarian assistance, for example in relation to mine clearance in Ukraine.
“The Russians will not give up Crimea and Donbass”
In a conversation that lasted nearly an hour, the Slovakian politician also stated that there was no military solution to the conflict in Ukraine, and suggested that Ukraine would have to give up part of its territory. -There must be some compromise which will be very painful for both sides. Fico also announced his desire to reopen the defense agreement with the United States, which was signed by the previous government. According to Fico, the rulings ignore Slovakia's sovereignty. He mentioned, as an example, the issue of the responsibility of American soldiers for crimes and the possibility of transporting any shipment in Slovakia without inspection.
