“The Raven” Review: The Worst New Edition

Is it the fault of Zach Baylin and William Schneider’s script, Bill Skarsgård and FKA Branch’s acting, or Rupert Sanders’ direction? If not all three at the same time…

Crow (Crow In the original version) a Comedy Released in 1989, but it also – and above all, a cult film by Alex Broyas was released in 1994 and starred Bruce’s son, the late Brandon Lee, who died in a gunshot during filming. In this situation, is it a good idea to want to redo this job?

The answer is no! Because here, Erik (a Bill Skarsgård playing economy, the youngest in the family) acclimated us better, especially John Wick: Chapter 4) is a young man haunted by a horse and the death of his mother (in that order of importance…no comments).

He meets Shelley (FKA the British singer, who is undoubtedly the prover) at a rehab facility. But the young woman is being chased by the men — and women — of a criminal (Danny Huston, who plays a badass, which says it all) who’s so dangerous because he’s made a deal with the devil.

Apparently, the couple is killed. Long story short…Eric is undead and has superpowers because the crows carry the dead man’s soul. He convinces supernatural powers to save his beloved.

It was Rupert Saunders who gave us the indigestible goodness Snow White and the Huntsman And does it again here, with Kristen Stewart taking herself too seriously. Too long camera shots, dark colors, unnecessary slow motion, decidedly unrealistic love scenes… all this is made worse by the fact that Bill Skarsgård and FKA Branch have no chemistry and the dialogue is depressing. The only positive point of this relentless movie? Main Actor’s Makeup…
