Instead of posting a link to King Charles III's Commonwealth Day speech, Buckingham Palace got it wrong and shared the personal YouTube account of Emma Goody, the palace's digital engagement manager.

Although this post has since been deleted and reposted with the correct link, this comes after another communication issue. On Sunday, a Mother's Day photo of Princess Catherine and her three children was released by Kensington Palace. Due to edits made to the shot, the film was quickly subject to a “takedown notice” by five separate photo agencies.

Getty Images, AFP, Reuters, the Associated Press and the PA news agency all removed the photo, citing “an inconsistency in the alignment of Princess Charlotte's left arm”. This led to a lot of comments and rumours. Princess Catherine apologized the next day, explaining that she still had a lot to learn in photo editing.

The hiccup comes after weeks of rumors and speculation from the public about the health of Kate Middleton, who has not been seen in public since late December. Earlier this month, an unauthorized photograph was released by the US press showing him in a car with his mother, Carole Middleton, at the wheel.

Raja, for his part, is undergoing treatment for an unspecified cancer. Charles III did not attend the Commonwealth celebrations. In his video message recorded in February, he thanked them for the care and attention shown during his recovery.

“In recent weeks, I have been deeply touched by your wonderfully warm and thoughtful well wishes, and in return, I can only continue to serve the Commonwealth as best I can. My faith in our common endeavors and the capabilities of our people remains as firm and strong as ever. I hope that we will continue to support each other across the Commonwealth. I have no doubt that, together, we will continue this important journey,” said Charles III.
