The Russian Prosecutor General’s Office has launched an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the death of the 51-year-old. Among other things, it will check whether the camel has been legally kept in the children’s camp.

The person who trampled the 51-year-old to death was a Bactrian camel. These animals measure about two meters at the withers – including the humps – and can weigh up to 800 kilograms. In addition, males are larger than females.
