Brazilian singer electrocuted to death
The scene took place during Ayres Sasaki’s concert in Salinopolis, Brazil on July 13. A wet-suited fan came on stage to hug the artist.
Seconds later, Ayers Sasaki was electrocuted on the cable and died instantly. Police are investigating to understand what happened.
“We know that his show was scheduled for a certain time and moved up, but we are contacting people who were with him at the time to understand how everything happened. We will gather all the information in a statement that we will release to the press,” his aunt Rita Matos told local media. The Irish Sun.
For its part, the Solar Hotel, where the event was held, said it was in touch with the singer’s family to provide him with the necessary support.
“We reiterate our commitment to fully cooperate with the relevant authorities to provide the necessary clarifications. Our thoughts and condolences go out to Ayres Sasaki’s family and friends at this difficult time,” the company said in a statement on Instagram.
