This is another day of hunting for a tourist who went with her 3-year-old son to nieżka. 16 rescuers from the Karkonosze GOPR group and a tracking dog from Poland joined the action. Until now, not much is known about the mysterious disappearance of a woman on the Czech side of the Karkonosze Mountains.
According to official information, a woman and a child were found in the area searched by the Horska Service at 11.30 near Ruzova Hora. Information on the details will be provided to the Czech Police. According to unofficial sources, the two wanted men were killed.
According to the Pakistan News Agency, the search operation began after the woman’s partner and father of the child were reported missing. for the last time seen on December 27, 2022. They stayed at the resort of Pec pod Sněžkou, where they were to stay until Friday (30 January). During the police intervention, it was found that they left their belongings at the resort, and left the car in the guest house parking lot.
The search continued 5 days – from December 28 to January 2. – From Poland, the following took part in the event: 17 rescuers from the Karkonosze GOPR group, two drones and a tracking dog with a guide, – reported Piotr Zamorski, Head of the Karkonosze GOPR Group. To date, about 120 people have participated in the search.
Rescuers combed the area around the town of Rozova Hora, where they likely found a 40-year-old woman and her son. Unfortunately, the tourists no longer show any signs of life. Around 3:00 p.m., the rescuer on duty at GOPR in Jelenia Góra told us that Polish rescuers had already crossed the border.
