The Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro smartwatch would be great, but at this price

Xiaomi is conquering the hearts of customers around the world with primarily cheaper and more affordable devices, but it also has higher-end gear in its offerings. The new smartwatch will belong to the latter group and may interest many people due to its looks and capabilities.

The new Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro smart watch may interest many people

The Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer is preparing to launch a new watch model – Watch 2 Pro. Even before the official premiere, we knew what it would look like and what it would offer. As for the design, customers may like it more, because the smartwatch looks really attractive in the pre-release renders available on the web.

You can see that it will be a smart watch for people who are primarily looking for a stylish watch, also suitable for casual and formal styles. Of course, the device will also offer the ability to track physical activity, but the Watch 2 Pro doesn’t look “typically sporty”, certainly not in the leather strap version.

Already now, although the official premiere is still ahead, we know that Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro will receive an AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 1.43 inches and “HD” with Always-on display function, which owners will be able to use to set “exclusive dials”. The body of the smart watch is scheduled to be made of stainless steel, and there will be a physical crown on its side, which facilitates the use of the watch, in addition to two physical keys on either side of it.

In addition, the new Xiaomi smartwatch will provide, among other things: user body composition analysis, SpO2 measurement function, and sleep monitoring. However, this is “standard”, unlike the 4G LTE module, which will be available on select Watch 2 Pro models.

However, the price of the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro may discourage many people from buying a smartwatch

According to the preview Informationthe next Xiaomi smartwatch will be officially launched at the end of October 2023 and will cost ~400€ in Europe, which is equivalent to ~PLN 1825. This is not a small amount – you can see that the manufacturer intends to target this model to more affluent customers (and possibly those with high-end ).

The premiere at the end of October excludes the possibility of presenting the new smartwatch with the Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro smartphones, because their European premiere was announced on September 26, 2023.
