The rankings, prepared by Mercer, took into account 200 factors, such as transportation, food, clothing and entertainment costs, at 226 locations. However, the study showed Housing prices and inflation are the most important factors affecting the increase in the cost of living. The most expensive place to live is Hong Kong for five years, surpassing another Asian city, Singapore. Later, it becomes more “home”, because European cities occupy up to four more places. Below we present the top ten rankings.

As you can see, half of the cities mentioned above are located in Europe. On our continent, the list of leaders includes Copenhagen, Vienna, Paris, Amsterdam and Berlin.
Where are the Polish capitals in all this? There is no point in looking for them in the top hundred of the rating, but compared to last year’s rating, our cities have made amazing progress.
