This is the departure for Iglofest Quebec

To set the tone for the second edition of igloofest Québec, thousands of people danced and jumped in their best snowsuits to the rhythms of Lost Frequencies.

Famous Belgian DJ Last Frequencies admitted to the Journal that minutes before going on stage, he was impatient to meet his Quebec audience and see the style in which his fans would greet him.

The headliner of this igloofest's opening ceremony at Place Jean-Beliveau on Thursday evening did not disappoint.

DJ POPTRT and DJ Shieldy brought an extra bit of heat to the already mild temperatures that awaited fans of electro music, all expecting to explode the mercury.

During his generous hour-and-a-half show, Lost Frequencies addressed his crowd like a local artist, and they drank in every word as they waited for their next song.

“When I come here, it's always crazy to see how people are in such a good mood and how much they're partying,” said Lost Frequencies, who attended the last Sigale festival.

Igloofest Québec takes place from March 7th to 9th at Place Jean-Béliève near the Videotron Centre. Above & Beyond and Kaytranada will headline the last two evenings of the festival.
