Agents from the Quebec City (SPVQ) Police Department first went to an apartment building on Avenue du Flu because “chicken between a group” occurred at 1:10 p.m.
Both suspects were then engaged in intimidation, with a blade weapon in their hand. The first man, 24, was quickly handcuffed, but the second man restrained himself in an apartment.
The second suspect, a 24-year-old man, allegedly threatened a police officer and offered no co-operation. A safety perimeter should be installed and a dog handler attended to the scene.
Four hours later, at 5 a.m., the man surrendered to SPVQ agents.
The first suspect may be charged with intimidation, mischief and breach of probation. Charges of intimidation, threatening a peace officer, mischief and breach of conditions may be brought against the second charge.
