Three people were injured in a head-on collision with a Mont-lorry

(Mont-Laurier) A young man must face justice after being confronted face to face.


The head-on collision occurred at around 2am on Sunday at Semin du Lock Nadow in Mont-Laurier.

“We are talking about a 23-year-old driver who may have lost his way in a collision with an oncoming vehicle,” said Sûreté du Québec (SQ) spokesman Sergeant Luis-Philippe Bebev.

The driver and passenger of the other vehicle, 20, were also injured. They were taken to hospital, but there was no fear for their lives.

The driver, who veered off his path, was taken to hospital with minor injuries. He was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

The suspect was later released without being produced.
