The final edition of the first ever Polish Championship will be the competition in Zakopane. Qualifiers for Sunday's individual competition are scheduled to take place on Friday. The classic team competition will be held on Saturday, with four competitors in each team.
Coach Thomas Thornbichler had the right to take nine players to Zakopane. Poland can usually field five of them, but the host country has the right to field an additional four as part of the so-called national group. However, the Austrian did not decide to use all the places and we will see eight of the white and red in Wielka Krokiv.
It is worth noting that after qualifying to compete in Wisła, Jakob Wolny was disqualified from the competition. The skater criticized his coaches in the B team with frank words.

– I try to jump in my own way. When I get some advice from our coach, it gets worse. He explained in an interview with Eurosport that he spoke brutally about us sometimes.
-There's a little chaos in our group. It is difficult to jump alone, because this way you can jump in the FIS Cup. It is difficult to communicate with our coaches. He added: “I am not talking about coaches from the first team, but rather from the second team.”
It seems that in such circumstances Thornbichler might give one of the younger players a chance. The Austrian will take only eight people to Zakopane and again we will not see any young talent among the Poles.
