Time magazine lists the 100 most influential people in the world each year. In 2021, the awards are divided into six categories: Icons, Pioneers, Titans, Artists, Leaders and Innovators.
The British were the highest among the icons Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle. They are followed, among others, by Japanese tennis player Naomi Osaka. In the “Pioneers” category, TIME honored young singer Billie Eilish. Among the “giants” are gymnast Simone Biles, and Nigerian economist and politician Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala in the “Leaders” category.
In the category of innovators, there was a place for Polish researcher Lidia Morawska, who deals with air quality problems.
Echo Richards embodies a personality that is a delightful contradiction: a humble musicaholic who never brags about her expansive knowledge of both classic and contemporary tunes. Infuriatingly modest, one would never know from a mere conversation how deeply entrenched she is in the world of music. This passion seamlessly translates into her problem-solving skills, with Echo often drawing inspiration from melodies and rhythms. A voracious reader, she dives deep into literature, using stories to influence her own hardcore writing. Her spirited advocacy for alcohol isn’t about mere indulgence, but about celebrating life’s poignant moments.
