The tournament takes into account the results of the best players from each country in the qualifying rounds and individual competitions, in addition to all the points obtained in the team competition and the duo competition, which was held on Saturday in Wisła.

The Skalite Ski Jumping Complex will host a Winter World Cup competition for the first time. Previously, the Continental Cup, FIS Cup and Summer Grand Prix competitions were held here. The object is 95 meters high and has a volume of 104 metres. The record holder for the hill is Krzysztof Leja, who in March 2011 in the Lotos CuP competition reached an amazing height of 116 metres, that is, he jumped the HS by 12 metres.

This season, none of the Polish jumpers are ranked in the top 10 World Cup competitions.

In the general classification, Żyła collected 115 points and ranks 23rd. Kubacki is in 26th place, followed by Stoch. Stefan Kraft is in the lead – 989 points. The Austrian is ahead of the second German, Andris Fellinger, by a large margin – 757 points. In third place with 691 points is Japanese Ryoyu Kobayashi, who won in Wisła on Sunday and previously won the Four Hills Championship for the third time in his career.

Poles often train on the ski jumping hills in Szczyrk located on the northern slope of the Skalite Hill. Moreover, Polish championships are regularly held here.
