Tomb Raider I-III Remastered was revealed last year, and the three-pack of classic Lara Croft adventures promises to deliver great gameplay while maintaining the spirit of the original game. Asper decided to introduce the project and prepare players for the attraction.
The creators of Tomb Raider I-III Remastered contacted Crystal Dynamics to ensure that the team would treat the revival of the classics with due respect. Aspyr has wanted to develop the game for years and can finally provide players with a unique package.
Tomb Raider I-III Remastered is built on the original source code, Because according to the developers, “magic cannot simply be rebuilt.” The creators wanted to make sure players could return to the original during the game.
In the case of Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, it offers every element of the original – in the same place we will jump, meet famous opponents and face classic secrets.
However, the creators knew they had to make improvements – Tomb Raider I-III Remastered will have the option to choose between classic and modern controls. Those interested (as in the case of graphics) will be able to choose the “original” experience in the game menu.
Tomb Raider I-III Remastered will feature health bars for bosses that were missing in the originals, and the authors have made 3D item icons and also introduced… More than 200 trophies.
This is a big moment for the Tomb Raider community, so we made sure to include as much content in the game as possible. We're excited to announce that there are over 200 prizes to be won, including a Butler Prize (my favorite) in the fridge. Sorry, Winston!
The studio did not forget about the photo mode, and in terms of visuals, players can count on many effects – real-time light, graphics adapter, new character models, improved environments, and beautified opponents. The creators also improved the appearance of the main character.
