Friday 5 November:

Dogman, dir. Mathieu Garrone, TVP Kultura, watches. 20.05

The excellent drama by Matteo Garrone was awarded the Palme d’Or. Marcelo, the town’s favorite dog hairstylist, loving father, and occasional cocaine dealer, bites a local boss who treats him like a doll.

Edge of Tomorrow, Der. Doug Liman, TVN, at 21.35

Based on the theme of the well-known science fiction story “Groundhog”. The alien race unleashed a ruthless attack on Earth and spread like a swarm of bees, destroying entire cities. Only a soldier who has been trapped in a time loop can destroy it. Amazing show with Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt.

The godfather monastery. Francis Ford Coppola, Pulsat, at 22.05

The Coppola movie is a great classic gangster movie with the unforgettable roles of Marlon Brando, Al Pacino or Robert Duvall. The story of a New York mafia family begins. Elder Don Corleone wants to hand over power to his son.

Saturday 6 November:

Narnia Tales: Prince Caspian, dir. Andrew Adamson, TV4, at twenty

The second installment of a fantasy series based on the CS Lewis novel. The return of the well-known heroes from the movie “The Lion, the Witch and the Ancient Wardrobe”: Pewter, Susanna, Edmund and Ogja. The children visit the kingdom of Narnia again, but it turns out that 1300 years have passed since their disappearance and much has changed. Magical creatures and talking animals have become just a legend, ruled by the ruthless usurper Miraz. Joining the cast of the series in this sequel is Ben Barnes, nicknamed Prince Caspian and Peter Dinklage, known from “Game of Thrones.”

The last Mel Gibson movie won two Oscars. End of World War II. During the bloody battle in Okinawa, an American medic refuses to take up arms and kill on moral grounds. Andrew Garfield stars.

Mama Mia! Here we go again, dir. Ol Parker, TVN, Hours. 22.20

Continuing the musical hit from 2008. Sophie becomes pregnant and learns stories from her mother’s youth – especially about the time she was pregnant. Amanda Seyfried and Meryl Streep return to the cast, and the screen also includes, among others, Lily James and Alexa Davis.

Sunday 7 November:

delusion, dir. Louis Leterrier, TV Puls, at twenty

FBI and Interpol agents track down a group of scammers who rob banks during performances and distribute the stolen money to the public. Crime story starring Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, and Melanie Laurent.

King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, Der. Guy Ritchie, TVN Siedem, hours. twenty

The new Sherlock Holmes release director, this time takes the legend of King Arthur to the workshop and, as is his custom, vividly revives it. Young Arthur acquires the Excalibur sword and knowledge of its royal origin. He joins the rebellion to defeat the tyrant who killed his parents. Starring Charlie Hunnam, Jude Law and Digimon Hounsou.

15:17 to Paris, Der. Clint Eastwood, TVN, at 22.30

Clint Eastwood film showing the August 2015 events related to the terrorist attack on the 9364 Thalys train bound for Paris. It is worth emphasizing that the film depicts real participants in those events, impersonating themselves and recreating the drama in which they took part a few years ago.
