The missile attack on Vinnytsia center is part of a systematic Russian campaign of attacks on urban neighborhoods. The American think-tank evaluates the Institute for War Research (ISW) in its latest report. There is an operational pause in Donbass before the attack on the Słowiask-Siwersk-Bakhmut line.
– Russia (Thursday – ed.) continued its campaign of systematic attacks on residential neighborhoods of Ukrainian cities, striking Vinnytsia, Kharkiv and Mykolaiv – writes ISW.
Ukrainian authorities have so far confirmed that 23 people were killed in a missile attack on buildings in the center of the city of Vinnytsia in central Ukraine, and 39 people are missing. In addition, 117 sought medical attention and 66 required hospitalization. And used in the attack, Kalibr missiles for maneuvering.

In addition, “the Russians fired missiles at the hotel, schools, shopping center and transport infrastructure in Mykolaiv,” adds ISW.
According to American analysts, there is a pause of Russian operations on the front with a limited intensity of ground attacks on the Słowiask-Siwersk-Bakhmut line. Russian forces continue intense artillery, missile and air bombardment along the front lines.
“It is possible that the Russians will soon launch a broader and more decisive offensive along the Slaviansk-Siwirsk-Bakhmut line, but there are no indications as to when the offensive will begin and where it will be focused” – ISW assessment.
