CNN published new footage showing the moment a private plane crashed in Florida. The video shows the plane landing quickly while trying to make an emergency landing on the highway. The plane collided with moving cars and caught fire. Two people died in the accident.
A Bombardier Challenger 600 private jet crashed on I-75 near Naples in Collier County, Florida, on Friday. According to a statement issued by the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), due to a failure in both engines of the plane, the pilot was allowed to make an emergency landing at a nearby airport. But he was unable to reach it, so he decided to attempt an emergency landing on the highway. This ended tragically.
The plane quickly approached the ground, hit the top of a pickup truck traveling on the road, then fell to the side of the road, moving at high speed, and crashed into a concrete wall – Brianna Walker, who witnessed the entire incident, reported to CNN. The machine caught fire after the collision.

Two people were killed in the accident, and according to preliminary information, they were pilots. The other three people on board the plane were taken to hospital. The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) determined that the aircraft had previously collided with two moving vehicles. The driver of one of the pickup trucks was slightly injured. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are investigating the accident.
