After hearing the charges, Giuliani was released on bail after posting a $150,000 bail. He must also refrain from intimidating witnesses and other defendants.

This is an attack on the American people. If this can happen to me, it can happen to you, too,” Giuliani said. The former president has said the charges against him are a “witch hunt” and that Willis, a Democrat who heads the Atlanta state attorney general’s office, is working with the federal attorney’s office to interfere in next year’s presidential election.

On Monday, an Atlanta court ruled that Trump must post $200,000 bail to avoid arrest. One of the conditions for staying free is also refraining from intimidating witnesses, also through social media.
