As of March, Poland will be obligated to vaccinate doctors, teachers and regular services, Health Minister Adam Nidzelsky said today at the conference. In many public places, the number of people will be reduced to 30%. From December 20 to January 9, all schools will switch to distance learning.
– The epidemiological situation has stabilized. Infection rates, week to week, are very similar. We can see that the number of new infections has peaked, but there is no significant decrease – said Health Minister Adam Nidzelsky at the press conference. Only in four counties is the list of new COVID-19 infections going down. They are: Podlaskie, Lubelskie, Mazowieckie and Podkarpackie.
From December 15, new health restrictions will be implemented across the country, including a 75% limit on public transport, up to 30% (from the current 50%) the limit will be reduced, among others in cinemas, theaters or Restaurants, hotels or churches (does not apply to people who have been vaccinated or have been verified by a businessman or institutions). Discos and nightclubs will be closed (on December 31 and January 1, the number of indoor customers will be limited to a maximum of 100 people, excluding those who have been vaccinated).
From mid-December, mandatory coronavirus testing will be offered to family members with COVID-19, including those who have been vaccinated. From December 20 to January 9, primary and secondary school students will start distance learning. From March 1, the government would like to introduce compulsory vaccinations for doctors, teachers and regular services.
