The President of Russia appeared at the training ground of the Nizhny Novgorod region. On Monday (September 13), Vladimir Putin monitored the actions of soldiers as part of the Zapad 21 exercises. The army presented, among other things, two new motorized combat vehicles. As confirmed by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, vehicles equipped with machine guns and grenade launchers can be seen for the first time in a combat environment. About 200,000 people are participating in the exercises, which were conducted at several sites in Russia and Belarus. Including soldiers from Armenia, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia. While Zapad-21 is causing concern among neighboring countries, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov says joint military exercises are a regular practice.
