With the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, speculation has increased about Vladimir Putin’s health. In the context of the health condition of the 70-year-old leader, there were, among other things: reports of thyroid and pancreatic cancer or Parkinson’s disease. It has even been estimated that it may have been illness that influenced the decision to attack Ukraine.
“There are a lot of people interested.”
Now political scientist Valery Solovey has commented on Putin’s health, saying: “Putin is sick, and according to doctors, he may not survive the fall,” he said in an interview with the Russian opposition channel Khodorkovsky Live. He added that the Russian President will not use nuclear weapons because no one will allow him to do so. He said the leader “just wants people to suffer” because he is a “sadist.”
—Putin is truly at death’s door. Once he dies, we will know within a few hours. No one will hide it. He stressed that there are many interested people, both outside Russia and inside Russia. He added that this, of course, will not be official information.
He also mentioned that Putin’s likeness is being used, and the situation is no different in the case of the meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. “Since (Editor – Kim Jong Un) is not considered a person who is not insightful without reason, it was decided that his lookalike would be able to adapt,” Solovey said.
